Malva Pudding - For Pudding Lovers!
Malva Pudding is genuinely something wonderful. South African dessert with a caramelized crust and a soft inside that has been drenched in delectable warm butter.

- 1 cup (200g) white sugar
- Pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp (30ml) butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp (15ml) vinegar
- 1 tsp (5ml) bicarbonate of soda
- ¾ cup (180ml) milk
- ⅔ cup (100g) cake flour
- 3 Tbsp (45ml) cocoa powder
- 1 tsp (5ml) baking powder
For Making Sauce
- 2 cups (500 ml) cream for the sauce
- 50g (1/4 cup) of sugar
- 2 slabs (100g each) whether it's milk or dark
- 12–16 burnt marshmallows for serving
- 6–8 digestive biscuits wrapped with chocolate, for serving
Pre-heat the oven to 180°C
Using an electric mixer, whisk the ingredients until they are light and fluffy.Mix in the butter and vinegar. Mix the bicarbonate of soda and milk together.
for an another dish, sift the flour, cocoa, and baking powder.Mixture should be folded into dry mixture Pour onto a 25 cm square oven-safe dish.
bake the dish for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Warm up 1 cup (250 ml) of cream and sugar, without bringing it to a boil.
Break up one slab of chocolate into bits and add to a bowl with hot cream. Stir until the chocolate has melted. Gently provide heat but boil it.
Chop remaining chocolate into chunks and add to cream, stirring to melt evenly. Place in the refrigerator for a little while or set down to firm up. ust before serving, cover the pudding with cooled chocolate.To provide the impression of a s'more, top with marshmallows and cookies.
