Chocolate Raspberry Oatmeal Cookies

Hey guys!  Long time no see.  Unfortunately, it’s gonna be just a bit longer until we really get to talk.  I’m just dropping in quickly today to share a quick cookie recipe for this month’s Recipe ReDux.

This month’s theme was freeze-dried, and I have to admit, I kind of cheated.  I didn’t dry my own fruit like I’m sure many others did, but I did throw some Trader Joe’s freeze dried raspberries in some cookies with banana, oats, and chocolate.  The cookies came out so delicious that I swear I ate half the batch in one sitting.

Chocolate Raspberry Oatmeal Cookies


1/2 cup mashed banana

1/4 cup peanut butter

2 Tbs. maple syrup

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 cup freeze-dried raspberries

1/4 cup chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine banana, maple syrup, and peanut butter.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined.
  4. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a silicone baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes
